Overview
AutoPenPal needed a public website that could explain a physical, robot-written card service and also let customers compose messages, merge recipient data and place orders. I handled both the visual design and the Wix development.
Problem
The product is unusual: robots write real ballpoint-pen cards so they look handwritten. A generic brochure site would not be enough. Customers needed a way to write a message, choose fonts and card types, upload lists of recipients and preview what would be produced before checkout.
Approach
The site was designed and built end-to-end in Wix. Marketing pages tell the story and use cases; a custom create-card flow handles composition, mail-merge data, live previews and checkout options for cards, envelopes and mailing.

Challenges
Wix had to carry both a polished brand site and an interactive ordering tool. The card builder needed placeholders, bulk recipient data and previews without leaving the Wix environment.
Solution
Design and development were treated as one piece of work: layout, typography and product UI were designed for the service, then implemented with custom Wix functionality so customers can compose, merge data, preview and check out on the same site.
Results
- Live commercial website at autopenpal.com covering both marketing and ordering
- Customers can personalize cards with bulk data instead of writing each letter by hand
